Callaway EPIC Driver at Howley Hall Golf Club
2016 was one of Callaway’s best years so far with their many successes around the globe. Starting early in the year with Danny Willett winning the US Masters at Augusta and of course Henrik Stenson winning the Open Championship and this year’s race to Dubai. Alex Noren performed superbly and won four times in the later stages of the season giving Henrik a run until the end.
2017 is looking to be another EPIC year for Callaway Golf with the release of Callaways Breakthrough Driver – EPIC. This driver is released January 27th and is EPIC by name and EPIC by Nature. Early testing shows that the ball speed and distance produced by the EPIC are unparrallelled. Rory Mcilroy has recently been spotted with this in the bag ready for his first competitive start of 2017 and I am sure all of Callaway’s current tour staff will be using EPIC. The design of this driver is fantastic and incorporates the new Jail break technology from Callaway in the form of two rods behind the face which stabilise it during impact producing more ball speed due to reducing the deformation in the club head. The movable weight in the back of the head gives you more options for draw, fade of straight ball flights.
The EPIC is also available in a Sub-Zero option used on tour by Alex Noren and has changed his game, this is aimed at the player who creates more club head speed and wants to hit a more penetrating flight with lower spin. Whatever your preference, we can find the EPIC Driver for you- Book your fitting NOW to try the EPIC before its launch this month.
